2. Service Description

Riftr provides temporary file storage and sharing services with automatic secure deletion of content after a user-specified period (maximum 7 days)...

3. User Responsibilities

You agree not to upload, store, or share any content that:

• Violates Canadian laws including Copyright Act and Criminal Code
• Contains illegal, harmful, or infringing material
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or harmful code

4. Content Disclaimer

Riftr does not actively monitor user-uploaded content but reserves the right to:

• Remove any content without notice
• Terminate access for violations
• Cooperate with legal authorities

5. Liability Limitation

Under no circumstances shall Riftr be liable for:

• Unauthorized access to our servers or personal data
• Interruptions in Service transmission
• Third-party malware transmission through the Service
• Loss of business opportunities or reputational damage

6. Data Retention

All files are automatically deleted after the expiration period selected by the user (1-7 days). Deleted files cannot be recovered.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

9. Account Termination

Riftr may suspend or terminate access immediately if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Deleted files cannot be recovered after termination.

10. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of uploaded content but grant Riftr a non-exclusive license to store and transmit it solely for providing the Service. All Riftr trademarks and logos remain our property.

11. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free service.

13. Security Practices

Files are encrypted in transit and at rest. While we implement industry-standard security measures, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
